$0.00

Vite Colte represents 180 winegrowers with 741 acres of vineyards in Piedmont. The winegrowers bring their skills, passion, and dedication to the Vite Colte project, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.

Appellation: Barbaresco

Region: Piedmont

Grape Variety: 100% Nebbiolo

Vineyard: Following historical production techniques, this cuvée is blended from Nebbiolo batches sourced from vineyards with different microclimates.

Winemaking: The traditional alcoholic fermentation lasts for 20 days, followed by a malolactic fermentation. The aging process occurs two times. During the first year the wine is aged in oak barrels. After being bottled, it rests again for another year in order to complete the balance and development of the tertiary aromas.

Tasting Notes: This ruby red wine, with garnet nuances, offers a very intense and complex bouquet. Scents of ripe plum and black cherry blend with notes of powdered coffee and tobacco. On the palate, it is generous and subtly zesty, with an aftertaste of vanilla and cherry.

Food Pairing: This wine is excellent with umami-rich meals and is particularly enjoyable at the end of a meal, served with medium-aged cheeses.
