Trombetta - Indindoli
Limited production wines by mother-and-daughter duo Rickey Trombetta Stancliff and Erica Stancliff. Clones of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay exemplify the rich minerality, soils, and cool weather of the Sonoma Coast, resulting in beautifully balanced wines that enhance every meal. Each bottle is hand-harvested and hand-produced.
Region: Russian River Valley, Sonoma County
Grape Variety: 100% Chardonnay
Vineyard: On the Four Brothers vineyard, selected clones of Chardonnay were planted 15 years ago on sandy loam soil, located in the heart of the Russian River Valley, which benefits from northwestern sun exposure. Yields are voluntarily controlled at 2 tons per acre.
Winemaking: Grapes are hand-harvested by night and immediately pressed. Fermentation takes place in barrels with native yeast, then the wine is aged for 8 months on lees in French oak barrels.
Tasting Notes: This wine offers a nose of honeysuckle and orange blossom notes enhanced by slight oak spices. The lush palate features nice minerality, with flavors of honeyed apple, Asian pear, and vanilla cream.
Food Pairing: This wine pairs perfectly with delicate foods such as cooked shellfish like crab and prawns and steamed or grilled fish.
