Roger & Didier Raimbault - Sancerre White

$0.00

The famed Sancerre offers some of the best expression of Sauvignon-Blanc in France. The Raimbault Family has been producing wine in Sancerre for 10 Generations.

Appellation: Sancerre

Region: Loire Valley

Grape Variety: 100% Sauvignon Blanc

Vineyard: The Raimbault family has been growing vines since the mid-17th century. The combination of experience, technique and environment allows us to produce high quality wines while respecting the typicality of each vintage. The estate is in the heart of the vineyards of Sancerre.

Winemaking: The grapes come from a very steep, small plot of vines nestled between Ampuis and Saint-Cyr-sur-le-Rhône. Due to its southern orientation, a gentle winemaking process, and lengthy maturation, this wine is bottled without filtering, resulting in a delightful product. Total respect is given to the wine and its terroir.

Tasting Notes: Bright yellow color. Aromatic scent of delicate fruits such as pear, lemon lime. Good weight on the palate, round as well as a crisp citrus liveliness finish.

Food Pairing: Great on its own or will go well with Seafood, Fishes, Mixed Salads and Goat Cheese.
