Domaine Maby, nestling in the south of the Rhone Valley near Avignon, has been in the Maby family for over seventy years. Each successive generation has worked with passion and character to enhance their exceptional heritage. It is now Richard Maby turn, with respect and humility, to nurture wines on a foundation of rigour and precision which ensure that tasting imparts a unique moment of pleasure.
Tavel Soils:Rolled pebbles, sand, slate.
Winemaking: Stainless steel vats maturing, bottling in January with an ageing potential of 6 years.
Grape Varieties:Grenache noir (30%), Cinsault (25%), Grenache blanc (15%), Mourvèdre (10%), Syrah (5%)
Tasting Notes:Clear light red color with discreet fruity bouquet opening to red fruit notes. Rich, fleshy texture on the palate with wonderful freshness and opened-up aromas.
