Wines Domaine du Grand Tinel White

Domaine du Grand Tinel White

$0.00

Historically, the AOP Châteauneuf-du-Pape dates back to the 16th century. The Domaine du Grand Tinel's history began in 1968 with the marriage of Christiane Establet and Pierre Élie Jeune. Today, this Domaine represents 53 hectares of vineyards, with most of the vineyards being very old (about 75 years). These older vines contribute to a greater concentration of aromas and flavors in the wine. Currently, the Estate is managed by their children Isabelle, Béatrice, and Christophe.

Appellation: Châteauneuf-du-Pape

Region: Southern Rhone Valley

Grape varieties: This cuvée is made from 56% Grenache Blanc, 22% Roussanne, 15% Bourboulenc and 7% Clairette. It is a unique blend with an average vine age of 43 years.

Winemaking: Manual harvest, direct pressing, cold settling, controlled fermentation, partial barrel aging, and no malolactic fermentation for maximum freshness. 60% of Grenache Blancs and Roussannes aged in new barrels for one year, remaining Grenaches and Bourboulenc in stainless steel tanks.

Ratings:

Vintage 2022: 93 Points Jeb Dunnuck & 90 Points Robert Parker
