Winemaking: Maceration for 3 to 6 weeks, fermentation at 28°C, and maturing on the lees for 40 months in 600 litre barrels.
Tasting Notes: Montus XL is a rich, deep, and concentrated red wine with refined tannins and a harmonious, fresh finish. It is aged for 40 months in 600 litre barrels, resulting in complex aromas of cocoa, mocha, leather, and cigar box.
Food Pairing: Hare "à la royale", rib of beef, game, porcini mushrooms, truffles.
