Château de Braude
Château de Braude was restored with taste and refinement by Karin and Régis Bernaleau. Located in the heart of the Haut-Médoc appellation, Régis Bernaleau has managed to bring out the depth of this outstanding vineyard.
Appellation: Haut-Medoc Cru Bourgeois
Region: Bordeaux
Grape Varieties: 70% Cabernet Sauvignon - 30% Merlot
Vineyard: The 23-acre vineyard lies on Garonne and Pyrenean gravel soil.
Winemaking: After a manual harvest, the fermentation takes place in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats for 6 to 10 days. The vatting time lasts 3 to 4 weeks to extract the full quality of the soil, before aging for 18 months in oak barrels.
Tasting Notes: The nose is fine and expressive, offering ripe fruit, while the palate is clean, fresh, and balanced.
