Château Bouscassé - Les jardins

$0.00

Château Bouscassé is the birthplace of the pioneering winemaker Alain Brumont. His adventurous spirit led him to discover the hidden secrets of Gascony, such as the unknown Petit Courbu. He seized the opportunity to reveal its silky and expressive characteristics by creating a cuvée made almost entirely from this grape variety. The result is, as always, a great success: Pacherenc du Vic for our enjoyment.

Appellation: Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh

Region: South West France

Grape Varieties: Petit Courbu

Vineyard: This wine embodies the glory of Petit Courbu, which Alain Brumont considers the first great variety of white grape in the Southwest. In the terroir of Pacherenc du Vic Bilh, this grape variety thrives on clay and limestone soil.

Winemaking: After careful plot selection, the harvest is gently and slowly pressed before being placed in vats for maceration and fermentation. To preserve its natural characteristics and aromas, the wine is aged on lees for 10 to 12 months in tanks.

Tasting Notes: The wine offers a delicious freshness while being aromatically powerful. Wild flowers and exotic fruit are expressed with smoothness on the palate, accompanied by a mineral hint. The finish is lively and delightful.

Food Pairing: This exceptional and original white wine will enhance every fish or seafood dish but can also be enjoyed on its own as an aperitif.
