This wine is 100% Pinot Noir.
VINFICATION
Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats.
Daily pumping over and light punching of the cap.
Malolactic fermentation in barrel.
AGEING
In 228-litres barrels for 9 to 12 months,
with 20% new oak barrels.
TASTING
An emblematic appellation of Bourgogne, Pommard is an iron fist in a velvet glove. It has a deep ruby red colour. Its aromas of red fruits, black cherries and a hint of ripe plums reveal all the complexity of Bourgogne pinot noirs. On the palate, it is structured, complex, generous, subtle and refined.
