Made in a fruity and easy to drink style for consumers seeking instant pleasure, L’Or du Sud comes from our vineyards located in the South of France in the Aude department, on chalky clay soils.
Grape Variety:
100% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Vineyard:
Grown on the hottest and driest soils of the Languedoc, on dry and pebbly lands.
Winemaking:
Pre-fermentation hot maceration to extract fruitiness and colour. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats with temperature control. Gentle extraction. Malolactic fermentation.
Tasting Note:
Garnet red colour with a few orange reflections. Strong and aromatic nose of red fruits, spices and liquorice. The palate is pleasant with a generous attack and silky tannins.
Food Pairing:
To be enjoyed with a beef fillet and cheese. Serve at 16°C.
