Château Quinault L’Enclos – Classified Great Growth of Saint-Emilion
Saint Emilion Grand Cru AOC
Bought in 2008 by Baron Frère and Bernard Arnault, Château Quinault L’Enclos is a small urban vineyard of 45 acres. It enjoys the benefits of a microclimate thanks to the nearby River Dordogne. The grapes are vinified in such a way as to respect the pure fruit finesse and elegance and to extract smooth and strength.
Grape Varieties:
70% Merlot – 17% Cabernet Franc – 7% Cabernet Sauvignon – 6% Malbec
Vineyard:
Vines are aged of 50 years and grow on a sand-gravel soil
Winemaking:
After a manual harvest and vatting for 4 weeks, the wine is aged for 12 to 18 months in barrels.
Tasting note:
The wine reveals ripe black cherries notes along with a touch of blueberry and a flinty mineral quality. The palate is medium-bodied with lively fine texture and a flavorful finish.

This wine will match with all kind of meats, pasta and cheeses.
