Tasting Note:
Lurid violet color. Mineral-accented dark berry and cherry liqueur scents are complicated by hints of candied violet and licorice. Sweet, perfumed and expansive on the palate, offering intense boysenberry and cherry that tighten up slowly on the back half. Blends richness and energy smoothly and finishes very long and sappy, with velvet tannins coming in late. (Vinous – Josh Raynolds. Tasting date: October 2017)
