Celene Château Moulin de Clotte

Château Moulin de Clotte is owned by Francoise Lannoye and dates back to the 19th century. It represents 8 hectars of old vineyards (about 25 years).

This wine is 95% made from Merlot and a tiny percentage of Cabernet Franc (only 5%). During the winemaking, it has been slightly aged in oak (20% of the wine). Indeed, it adds toasty and vanilla notes. Moreover, the wine displays aromas of red berries, violet, eucalyptus and velvety tannins. As a result, the wine is very well balanced between freshness and interesting tertiary aromas like tobacco.
