The history of Château Thalvin begins in 1923, when a domain of 3000ha vineyard is planted. Indeed, this land benefits of exceptionnal soils made of sand and schists, typical in the region of Benslimane (50km Northeast of Casablanca). Three years later, a winery in the purest architectural style of North Africa is built. The winemaking adventure of the Domain Ouled Thaleb started with a first vintage in 1827. It remains the oldest winery in Morocco today. Mr Brahim Zniber, owner od Celliers de Melknes and fascinated by the « Moroccan terroir », acquired Thalvin in 2001.
