Sauternes AOC
The second wine of Chateau d’Arche, located at the very heart of Sauternes combining optimale ripeness and Botrytis.
Grape varieties:
70% Semilion – 30% Sauvignon blanc
Vineyard:
Vines are 15 years old on average and grow on a gravel, clay and limestone soil over 25 acres.
Winemaking:
Pressing is done by vertical wine presses from 1935. The wine is aged for 6 months in barrels.
Tasting note:
This wine offers a bright straw and gold color, a ripe nose of honey, floral, ripe fruits and apricots. Then the palate is swet round and balance with yellow fruit finish.
Food pairing:
This wine will match all kinds of cheeses and desserts such as ice cream, cheesecake, fruit pie.
