Vineyard:
The estate of Château Bousquet is located on a very nice terroir of 55 hectares, 40 km south-east of Bordeaux, in the Budos village.The hillside is very gravellous at the top and clay-limestone at the bottom. The harvest is done mechanically.
Winemaking:
Traditional winemaking in thermoregulated stainless vats with coating maceration and cooling before bottling.
Tasting note:
This light-yellow wine withe slight reflexions of greens offers a delicate bouquet of abricot. Besides an nice alliance of freshness with citrus fruit and creaminess brings complexity to the wine. The palate is dry on herbals aromas, the acidity is soft thank to its aging in barrels. Need to be serve between 6° and 8°.
Food Pairing:
This wine will express best of itself with all kinds of seafood, shellfish ans fish.
