Champagne Didier Chopin Grand Reserve Brut
Champagne
This Blanc de Blancs is only made with Chardonnays coming from chalky soils of the Marne Valley.
Grape varieties:
100% Chardonnay
Vineyard:
Wines of various vineyards are blended over three years to give a consistency and elegance to the vintage.
Winemaking:
Traditional winemaking avoids premature oxidation.
Partial malolactic fermentation and ageing in tanks to allow the aromas to gain in complexity.
A light brut dosage to maintain the balance between freshness, fruity and vinosity to emphasize the character of the wine.
Tasting notes:
Color: Yellow gold with light green flashes.
Nose: Pure and delicate nose of fruity aromas, including cherry plum and pear, with some brioche notes.
Palate: The attack is strong, ample and creamy. Aromas of toasted brioche and honey dominated by freshness. The finale is frank and greedy and is the perfect expression of fine Chardonnay. A beautiful length on the palate.
Food pairing:
Ideal as an aperitif. Perfectly suits all fish, seafood, and sushi.
