Château Rêva – Concerto Rosé

There is a long story behind the walls of this wine estate, created more than 80 years ago, its first appellation was “Domaine de Clastron”. In 2004, a new owner repurchased it and renamed it “Château Rêva”. In december 2014, the wine estate has been acquired by a new owner the Demonceaux Family. Buying this property was seen as a challenge by the family and they decided to learn everything concerning this exciting work.
Grape Varieties:
42% Grenache – 40% Cinsault – 5% Syrah – 8% Semillon – 5% Vermentino
Vineyard:
Château Rêva is located in the heart of the Var, with a total size of 79 acres. It is known as a land of diversity due to the seven various kinds of grapes namely : Rolle, Grenache, Cinsault, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Syrah, Semillon and Viognier. The exceptional provincial Bastide dating of the 18th century can also be seen on the Lands of Château Rêva. It also owns an authentic sales cellar and a production cave.
Winemaking:
In October 2004, Patrice Maillard realized an old dream and acquired a new estate, he named “Rêva”. The 74 acres of vines surround a majestic building of the XVIII century. New methods of work had been established such as: full manual harvesting, sorting bunch by bunch every grapes and traditional vinification.
Tasting Note:
A fine expressive nose, full of softness and delicacy with notes of strawberries and raspberries. In mouth, a beautiful fresh attack brings out the persistence of the pear flavors interfering with the tangerine and the rose petals. An harmonious rosé with great complexity mixing smoothness and elegance.
Pairing Food:
This softness of Provence refined, will accompany perfectly your grills, the white meats or just an aperitif.
