Domaine du Grand Tinel Heres
Historically, the AOP Châteauneuf-du-Pape exists since the 16th century. The Domaine du Grand Tinel history begins in 1968 with the mariage of Christiane Establet and Pierre Élie Jeune. Today, this Domaine represents 53 hectars of vineyards. The majority of the vineyards are very old (about 75 years). Indeed, this give to the wine a greater concentration of aromas and flavours. Nowadays, it’s the children Isabelle, Béatrice and Christophe who are managing the Estate.
This cuvée is made from 100% Grenache noir. Grenache have been matured in temperature controlled vats. This technique give fruity aromas to the wine and preserve its freshness. So, it displays aromas and flavours of black olive, cooked cherries, and white pepper. You can wait a long time before drinking this wine (12 to 15 years).
