Domaine du Grand Tinel Alexis Establet
Historically, the AOP Châteauneuf-du-Pape exists since the 16th century. The Domaine du Grand Tinel history begins in 1968 with the mariage of Christiane Establet and Pierre Élie Jeune. Nowadays, it’s the children Isabelle, Béatrice and Christophe who are managing the Estate.
This cuvée is produce only the exceptional years and it is made from 100% Grenache noir. Grenache have been fermented in wood vats and temperature controlled stainless steel vats. Then, it has been matured 18 months in oak barrels and demi-muids. This technique give fruity aromas to the wine and preserve its freshness. So, it displays very complex aromas and flavours like black cherry, black currant, moka, vanilla, paprika and black pepper. You can wait a long time before drinking this wine (at least 15 years).
