Cochon Volant is a modern fairy tale from France telling the story of a smart pig that loves both flying and organic grapes. This Cuvée is a result of a vision to make some authentic Organic wine elaborated by the fame and well respected Chateau de Caraguilhes.

Grape varieties:

30% Syrah – 30% Cinsault – 20% Carignan – 20% Grenache

Vineyard:

Vines grow on a clay limestone soil over 334 acres surrounded and protected by garrigue, which constitute a rich ecosystem and a unique environment.

Winemaking:

Chateau de Caraguilhes produces oranic wines since 1987.

Tasting note:

This wine offers a deep color and a lovely intense nose with fruity aromas such as raspberry and blackcurrant with hint of cherry. Then the palate astonishes with a silky attack, strength and a great structure.

Food pairing:

This wine will match with all kinds of red meat such as ducks, roast pork, beef.
