Vineyard:

Bodegas is a small family winery located in Quilos, Bierzo. Gines and Juani have 28 acres of old Mencia and Godello vineyards in small plots in foothills of the mountains surrounding Quilos. Eightty percent of the vines are at least 60 years old and present on a silty clay looms soil.

Winemaking:

The viticulture is traditional and the vinification is made in stainless steel tanks and aged for 6 months in French oak barrels.

Tasting Note:

Beautiful red opaque color with violet reflects, the fresh nose goes on red wild fruits along with chocolate and coffee scents. The mouth confers silky sensation with a fresh and nice aftertaste, all balanced with structure and mature tannins.
