Loyal to his innovative and creative vision, Alain Brumont produced in 2007 Tour Bouscassé, a wine of the third millennium. It shows a different profile than Château Bouscassé, lighter and fruitier with a new and surprising style.
Grape Varieties:
Tannat, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc
Vineyard:
This Madiran comes from a very specific terroir of Bouscassé vineyard, that is made up of clay-limestone hilltops with pebbles. Vine are from 15 to 20 years old and are grown following sustainable methods.
Winemaking:
The wine is aged in barrels after 3 to 6 weeks of maceration.
Tasting Note:
A fruity young wine revealing deep blackberry and blueberry aromas, melted with supple and soft tannins.
Food Pairing:
This red wine perfectly goes with asian food and chicken.
