Celene – Ambe Tour Pourret
AOC Saint-Emilion Grand Cru
Bought in 2007 by the family Lannoye, the Château Ambe Tour Pourret – AOC Saint Emilion Grand Cru is a 5-hectare property located at the entrance to the medieval town of Saint-Emilion. Its grapes are grown organically. The 2015 vintage will be the first one to be labeled organic.

90% Merlot – 10% Cabernet Franc
Vineyard:
Vines are 35 years-old on average and grow on a old sand on clay
Winemaking:
After hand harvest and grape sorting, the aging process is 12 – 18 months in barrels, 40% of new oak.
Tasting note:
Beautiful ruby color, deep and profound. Slightly woody nose, notes of cherry, gourmand mouthfeel, large and ba- lanced. Remarkable aromatic persistence. Great ageing potential.
Food pairing:
Beef, filet mignon, grilled fish, desserts with red berries.
