Vineyard:
Located in the Regional Park of High Languedoc since 1967, the cellar of Roquebrun benefits form an ideal microclimate, combine with soil of schists which enabling the elaboration of an unique wine’s character. Ancestral grapes varieties are grown notably such as Carignan, Grenache, Syraz and Mourvèdre. They confer a large range of aromas and features that are necessary to create flavorful and stylish wines.
Winemaking:
In order to find the perfect balance, it is mandatory to carefully select which plot will be blended together. After a manual harvest at optimal maturity, the classic winemaking and the aging take place in vats in order to preserve all the natural characteristics of the wine.
Tasting Note:
Very nice dark colour. Complex nose, with crushed red fruit aromas. The palate is harmonious with a delicate finish. In mouth, the structure is supple and very well balanced, with spicy aromas. Very pleasant during a meal, this wine is perfect with a guinea-fowl with morels or with soft cheese.
