Saint-Emilion Grand Cru AOC
Grape varieties:
85% Merlot – 10% Cabernet Sauvignon – 5% Cabernet Franc
Vineyard:
Vines grow on a clay and sandy soil over 22 acres.
Winemaking:
After a manual harvest including a strong selection, grapes are stalked, gently crushed and fermented for 3 weeks in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats. Then the wine is aged for 12 to 18 months in oak barrels.
Tasting note:
The wine offers a deep red color and a powerful nose with notes of vanilla and toasted bread. The palate is structured, balanced, round and full-bodied with delicate strength.
Food pairing:
This wine will be perfect with meat, poultry and cheese.
